Elaine and Tom

The snow has begun to fall, the temperature is falling, the fireplace is blazing inside, and outside I can see the horses filling up on lots of good hay in their new pasture.   I’m enjoying all of this in Mankato, MN, with my new husband Tom Davis!  That’s right, I married the man of my dreams and we have relocated Unbridled LLC to Mankato, MN!    Tom and I are very busy getting the horses settled into their new white fenced farm just outside of town.

Unbridled LLC has relocated (better with Tom’s business savvy!) and will continue to serve those who desire to partner with The Holy Spirit and horses to help ‘Set the Captives Free’ and empower the body of Christ to be all that Jesus died for her to be.  Our contact information remains the same;  phone: 608-712-6217 and email: elaine@unbridledfaith.org

This year I will use the business name: Elaine Davis.  This is only for the benefit of our clients.  Personally, I am (and always will be :)) Elaine Davis.

I’m looking forward to Tom getting to meet you all in the near future!  Tom has a business here in Mankato, Davis Comfort Systems, is a professional fisherman (for fun!), has a ministry called Reel Faith Outdoors. and does a fund raising fishing tournament for  Teen Challenge/Young Life each spring. Tom is one of us… a real horse lover!  He roped cattle for a lot of years, has two wonderful geldings of his own, and has put a lot of work into making a wonderful place for my mares to settle into!  Our family is now complete; Tom and me,  Bailey, our British Cream Lab, our four horses, Buck, Trinity, Charlie, and Legacy!  We’re all together and ready for our first Minnesota winter as a family!

I also want to thank you for all your support, grace, mercy, and love during the past months!  There have been so many exciting and challenging changes; it’s been a stretch to keep up on everything 🙂  We are currently working on the web site, schedules, and new ideas for 2016!  Stay tuned for updates on what God is leading Unbridled LLC to in this new season!

Be sure to call me to book your event in 2016!  We are looking for 6 horse farms that would like to be an official Unbridled LLC Host sight.  This would mean that we would return every or every other year, and would not only do a Certification Seminar but also classes geared at getting your business/ministry up and running strong!  We are looking for a well equipped horse farm in each zone of the U.S., as well as the U.K. Austrailia, Canada, etc.  This will allow for a more thougough training opportunities for FBEAP Facilitators.  I will blog about this more in the coming months!

Horse

This photo is of Derby… the miracle horse! He was a red bag foal. Shortly after birth I took him to the UW Madison Vet. College/Clinic. The teaching vets. said he’d more than likely die and if he lived he would never thrive. I came home and cried out to God and asked why…. Derby was the last foal out of a Storm Cat stallion my father owned; he was my fathers last gift to me. I felt like I was being robbed of a precious, irreplaceable gift. God said to me, “Go get your horse… I have given you the authority, in Jesus name, to speak life to him!” I called the head of the Clinic, apologized for not acting like a woman of faith, and said I was coming down to pray for my foal, and that my foal would live. On the way to Madison I positioned myself in Christ; Jesus is seated next to the Father, ruling and reigning in righteousness, I am in Him, and He is in me. When I speak His Word, He speaks. When I got to the Vet. Clinic the foal was only able to blink his big brown eyes. The stall walls were covered with his blood from hemorrhaging. I kept control of my mind and focused on His promises. I sat down on the stall floor, put his little head on my lap, and began to speak the Word over him. I commanded him to live and not die, to be completely restored, in Jesus name. As the teaching vet from Argentina told my the facts and that my foal would die, I answered each negative report with the Words, ‘but this one will live and not die’! No matter what he said, I covered the negative report with the Word of God. I told the vet I would pray for him to have the wisdom of God as he treated the little stud colt and that I would be back to pick him up soon. The next day he called me and said, ‘You won’t believe this, your colt is standing and nursing! But don’t get your hopes up…’ I told him my hopes are already up, this one will live and not die!” The next day the vet called and said, “You really won’t believe… Oh, yes you will… We just drew blood and his blood count is 30% above normal!” I laughed with joy and said, This one will live and not die!!!” He said we should wait to bring him home… I said, “I’m on my way!” When I got to his stall, I put a mare halter on him like a harness to lead him out to the trailer. He was so full of life I could hardly hold onto him as he jumped and bucked down the hallway toward the checkout like a little reindeer! At the check out/reception area, every single person in the clinic gathered around me as the receptionist announced… “Do you know this is the sickest animal to ever leave this hospital!?!” I smiled as I held my prancing colt and said, ‘The same God that loved me enough to give me my foal back, loves you and desires for you to know Him. The same God that raised this little guy up desires for you to know Him; He loves you.’ Jesus did this miracle for the sake of those watching and listening to this story. Derby lived to help bring healing, deliverance, hope, and love to countless people. God used Derby to teach me faith. Just like Peter learned to take a step of faith, he’s teaching us to walk on water for the sake of the people on the other side of the lake! The desciples got in the boat to go to the other side.. only Peter got out of the boat, his faith wasn’t perfect, he wasn’t perfect, but He desired to walk on water… with Jesus. The Word says, ‘As He was on this earth, so are we.’ Let’s live in the realm of the miraculous intentionally.

It was a beautiful day at Unbridled Faith Farm and I wanted to enjoy a bit of the day playing with the horses. What else would you do on a beautiful sunny day? Well, Elaine asked me to jump on Legacy bareback while she had her on a long line. Legacy isn’t real use to someone on her bareback. Elaine figured there would be some bucking involved. There was, but nothing I couldn’t sit through. Then Elaine asked me to take her around the arena and ask her to lope. She is very well trained and every move I would make meant something to her. Actually every move I made meant nothing to her. I couldn’t even get her to move forward a step. Elaine pointed out that when I was riding the buck I had my head up and eyes forward but when I was asking her to lope I was looking down and holding back. Mmmmm………..My body wasn’t giving her the same message as my leg cue was. Open up your inside hip, give her the cue, let her have her head and relax. I did, with my head up and eyes forward and voila! a beautiful forward motion and a smooth ride. Sometimes in life we have no problem riding the buck, its that forward motion after the buck. Relax, head up, eyes forward, let God give you the cue, and enjoy the ride.
